Walk along the Marine Drive upto Trident (this hotel too was attacked during 26/11) take a right between it and the iconic Air India building. Btw not that its a big deal (for then hardly profitable company) but this building’s rental income alone used to be as much as Air India’s operating profit annually.
Getting back to the walk in the sun. Keep going straight to towards Vidhan Bhavan take a cab from there to Gateway Of India ⛩️ 🇮🇳 check out the adjoining not so famous hotel. I think they call it Taj Mahal Palace Hotel 🧳✈️⛱️.
From there a short walk gets you to Jehangir Art Gallery 🎨🖌️ or if time permits take a cab to Asiatic Society Library/Flora fountain 📚⛲ first and then go do the Gateway track.
Note: Walk around first and then visit the Musuem or the Art Gallery

In case you guys even more confident, instead of taking a cab to Asiatic Library take the cab straight to Kyani & Co Irani Bakery 🍰. It was established in 1904 and is like going on a small time traveling adventure. Just have tea and mawa cake if food isn’t what you guys are looking for. If this looks unlikely in the afternoon, you guys visit this place before you head to CSMT in the night.
